The terms for using Beanstalk Kidz for preschools, day cares, and the families they serve.
Effective date: October 16, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and RC Management Systems, LLC ("we," "us," "our") about your use of Beanstalk Kidz, including the web application, the Beanstalk Kidz staff app and the Beanstalk Kidz Family app (together, the "Service"). They also serve as the end user license agreement for the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service for a program, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that program.
Beanstalk Kidz is software for preschools, day cares and similar programs (each a "Program") and the families they serve. The Program that signs up is our customer. Parents and guardians use the parent portal and the Family app through the Program. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children do not use the Service.
We provide software only. We do not provide child care, supervise children, or take part in any decision a Program makes about a child.
When a Program turns on online payments, a parent's tuition and fee payments are made to the Program, through Stripe. The Program, not us, sets what is charged, when it is due, and any late fees, and is responsible for refunds and disputes. We are not the seller of child care and are not a party to the arrangement between a Program and a family. Payment details are entered directly with Stripe; we do not store card or bank numbers.
Do not use the Service to break the law, to send spam or unwanted messages, to share another family's information, to try to reach data you are not allowed to see, to interfere with or overload the Service, to probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or to copy, resell or reverse engineer it. Do not upload photos or other content you do not have the right to share. We may suspend an account that does.
Parts of the Service work with other companies' services, including Stripe (payments and subscription billing), Mailgun (email), a telecom provider (text messages), the Apple and Google app stores (app downloads and notifications), and, if a Program chooses to connect it, QuickBooks Online. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
Connecting QuickBooks Online is optional. When a Program connects, it authorizes us to send its Stripe deposit entries to its QuickBooks company and to read the list of accounts needed to match them. The Program can disconnect at any time from Beanstalk Kidz, and can also remove the connection from within QuickBooks. QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit.
Billing, ledgers, deposits, pay tracking and reports help a Program keep its own records. They are not accounting, tax, legal or payroll advice, and they do not file anything on a Program's behalf. Amounts and reports are only as accurate as the information entered, and the Program is responsible for reviewing them and for its own filings and compliance.
A Program that sends text messages is responsible for having each parent's consent first and for honoring opt-outs. See the Text Messaging section of our Privacy Policy for how opt-in and opt-out work. Parents can choose which notifications they receive in the parent portal or the Family app.
We own the Service, including its software, design and branding. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own Program or family while you have an active account. You may not remove notices or use our name or logo without our permission.
We work to keep the Service running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free, and a Program should have its own plan for emergencies and for reaching families if the Service is down. We may update, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan offers, we will tell the Program in advance.
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why when we can. After an account ends, we keep and then delete data as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. The Service is a record-keeping and communication tool and is not a substitute for a Program's own supervision, safety and check-in procedures. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, income or profits, and our total liability to you for anything related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
The Program agrees to cover losses we suffer because of claims that come from its Program Data, its instructions to us, its dealings with families or its breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date, and continuing to use the Service afterward means you accept them.
